Our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page is here to help answer some of the more common questions that you might have.

If you’re unable to find the answer to your question below please feel free to contact us for more information or to arrange a visit to the nursery with your children.

Q) - What are your Opening Hours ?

Greenfields is open 50 weeks of the year, closing only for statutory Bank Holidays (Mondays, Tuesdays and Good Friday, a week at Christmas). Our opening hours are 8 am - 6 pm.

Q) - Can we Visit for a look around ?

Yes indeed, we will be happy to show you around. We strongly recommend you arrange a visit to come and see us, where both you and your child can get a feel for the Centre.

Q) - Are your Staff all Qualified ?

Yes, our staff are employed on the basis that they are qualified to work with children.  All our staff have as a minimum a level 3 qualification.

Q) - Do you prepare and cook your own food ?

Yes, all our meals follow the Healthy Schools Policy, meaning fresh fruit and vegetables are used wherever possible, keeping processed foods to a minimum.

Q) - Do you provide Out of School Services ?

Yes, our Before and After School Club aged 4 to 11 years during term time.

Q) - What are the Fees and how are they Paid ?

Fees are payable in advance. For full details and latest prices, please contact us directly, or call in at the Centre for a price list. Please note that all sessions booked must be paid for, regardless of whether the child attends. No refunds will be given for sessions missed due to sickness.  Half fees for 2 weeks per year.  No charge during Centre Closure.

Q) - What are your Security Arrangements ?

Security is one of our highest priorities. We operate a password system for every child, set up by the parent/carer on registration and doors require a key fob entry.

Q) - What about Health and Safety ?

Our Health and Safety policies and practices are audited by Serco (Education Walsall) we also have regular visits from Walsall Councils Environmental Health Team.

Q) - Do you have a copy of your Terms and Conditions ?

Yes, our Terms and Conditions are available in hard copy if you call in at the Nursery in person. They can also be downloaded here from the website.
